Again with the no NANO?

Utter failure.

I had high hopes. I have a few chapters of a pirate story that just never got out to sea. I flat out gave up.

I'll admit it. I did rotten, terrible, no good and nasty this year at NANO. I had other writing deadlines come up and I'm still battling a whale of one...so I dropped my novel in a month project.

Can't say that I've really missed it. I had a helluva time getting into the "groove" with that one and it seems to happen any time I try to write in a different time period. That's a bit disheartening, seeing how my next big project was supposed to be a historical. Bottom line: They're TOUGH!

Lots of love and respect to those writers who can churn them out like nothing.

On October 30, I sent that Silhouette Romantic Suspense partial out as requested. I'm currently working on a partial geared toward Intrigue, but am finding it harder than SRS...which focuses on the love story. I like the love story. The serial killer part is creepy and dark and though it needs to be written, it's not nearly as fun as the chemistry and the stolen glances.

I'm just sayin'.
